Cheyenne Olivier is a French illustrator based in the Basque Country.
Squares, circles and triangles form the building elements of her colorful and intricate illustrations.
After a BFA at the Estienne School of Graphic Industries, she graduated in illustration from the Decorative Art School in Strasbourg in 2018.
Her training includes several courses on anthropology of art, design, environmental materials and letterpress at the Harvard Extension School in 2019 and 2020.
She won the Young Talent Award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2016 as well as the Regional Avenir Prize from the French National Institute of Crafts in 2017.
Aside from her professional works, she started a PhD in children’s literature at the University of Tours and the Orléans Design School in 2021.
